“I’ve been in this business from the moment I could walk. No, really, I grew up in a custom cabinet shop in Kansas and I spent my childhood on jobsites where I learned firsthand how careful planning, creativity, and building strong relationships all lend themselves to a successful business. My path eventually led me to Orange County, California, where I fell in love with luxury materials and the art of pulling a complete vision together. Today, I bring that unique blend of experience to my work, mixing midwestern candor with a dash of California flair. I’ve spent 18 years in this industry and don’t have plans to stop anytime soon!”
“As the principal remodel designer and your first point of contact at Moxie, my main job is to truly listen. I don’t only want to know what you want to change in your space—although that’s of course very important—but the why behind you wanting to change it. If you feel heard and empowered right from the start, there’s a confidence we all feel moving forward.
My secret sauce is space planning. I love the challenge of transforming an outdated or underused area into something new and I excel at finding creative solutions that improve functionality, all while prioritizing your budget and aesthetic. I ask a lot of questions but that helps us create the best Moxie experience customized for you.”
“When I’m not working, my world revolves around my family, my friends, my two energetic Australian Shepherds, and my ever-growing collection of indoor plants. I’ve developed a true obsession and deep knowledge of all things plants and gardening, from integrating plants into design to understanding their light and maintenance requirements. My passion for green things extends outdoors as well, as we take full advantage of the beautiful outdoors by camping, traveling, or simply recharging with some forest bathing. Since living in the Pacific Northwest, I’ve become fascinated with stories of the region, from the crazy and wild to the cozy and weird! (So please tell me…I will listen.)”
